celebrating sustainability

Global City Futures are proud sponsors of the Exeter Sustainability Awards, a newly-launched celebration of sustainability in our home city.

This awards initiative recognising businesses, community groups and individuals who are going the extra mile for sustainability in Exeter has been launched by a city-wide group of organisations.

Recognition for small sustainable businesses

Global City Futures are sponsors of the ‘Small Business’ category. We are championing sustainable small businesses as we know you don’t have to be a big business to make a big difference, and it is our belief that it is absolutely possible and desirable to operate sustainably from the start.

A sustainable business is attractive to clients and supports recruiting the best staff, those who share the vision that growth can be sustainable when the goals are built in to the ethos of the business.

Global City Futures is a financial consultancy for the 21st century, making low carbon infrastructure and cities. Director Elaine Anning: “Exeter is a centre for innovative, sustainable start-ups and we are really looking forward to seeing the entries to the Sustainability Awards, we think it is going to be a great category.”
