New accreditation in Better Business Cases

The Global City Futures team have recently been successful in gaining new accreditation in Better Business Cases, ensuring that proposals gain management support and funding to go forward.

Based on the 5-case model that the consultancy have great experience in using when developing Business Cases for local authority and NHS projects,  four members of the team have now passed the Foundation exam to gain the award from APMG International. The whole GCF consultant team will go on to be qualified to practitioner level by early December, having completed higher level, more comprehensive training.

Rachael Gilliam, Senior Project Manager said:

“It’s been a while since I sat an exam – where does the time go? The Better Business Case Foundation really has given me understanding of the Business Case model and how it adds robust structure in real life projects. Creating effective business cases and spending proposals is important to our clients, and the reason we have so many successful projects and clients who come back.”

Business Cases training and certification is based on the ‘Five Case Model’ – the UK government’s best practice approach to developing spending proposals and enabling effective business decision and now a standard requirement for all NHS business cases.
